First Trace of Songun Leadership

The 20th century was called the age of independence pioneered by the Juche idea and the 21st century is called the era of Songun guaranteed by arms.

Now the revolutionary people of the world highly eulogize leader Kim Jong Il, who leads the socialist cause with Songun revolutionary leadership to victory, as the most outstanding leader of Songun revolution in the contemporary age, a rare philosopher of arms and ever-victorious Songun commander.

On August 25, 1960 Kim Jong Il began his Songun-based leadership.
