Sun Is Everlasting

On the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary of great President Kim Il Sung, the biggest national holiday and common to humankind, ever-mounting throughout the world is the fever of praise for the peerless great man.

President Kim Il Sung is the father of socialist Korea and unprecedented great saint who was possessed of rare wisdom, extraordinary leadership ability and ennobling virtue as his inborn character, glorified the 20th century as an independent century and created the world-level example in the revolution and construction.

For his immortal revolutionary exploits for the times and history and his personality of Heaven-sent great man, he enjoyed the highest prestige and admiration as the sun of mankind.

He is an extraordinary thinker and theoretician and a great leader who fathered the immortal Juche idea which takes the supreme place in history of human thought and opened up the independent era.

He is a political elder and outstanding leader of the world who provided a new turning phase for social progress and development holding aloft the banner of the Juche idea.

The President led the Korean people's struggle for social progress and development to victory and built up a socialist country centered on popular masses in Korea under century-long backwardness and poverty.

Grieving over the divided country more than anyone else, he set forth the ideas and lines for reunification with far-sighting wisdom, iron-willed pluck, superb stratagem and seasoned leadership, and dynamically aroused all Koreans to the struggle for their realization.

The President will live forever in the hearts of the Korean people and mankind as the lodestar of national reunification and defender of world peace along with the undying exploits he performed by wisely leading the cause of Korea’s peace and peaceful reunification.

Indeed, President Kim Il Sung is the great leader of the progressive mankind and preeminent great man representative of the 20th century.

Therefore, hundreds of millions of world people, fascinated by him, called him a “preeminent leader of humankind”, “great thinker”, “representative of the 20th century”, etc, during the whole period of his revolutionary career beyond their ideology, system, political view and religion. They authored and published numerous books, reminiscences and poems such as “President Kim Il Sung, Eternal Sun of Our Destiny” and “Sun of Juche Is Everlasting”.

Greeting the Day of the Sun every year, there take place multifarious celebration events including seminars on his works, photo shows and lectures in many countries, and many progressive organizations in Britain, Switzerland and other countries set up special homepages on the Internet to widely propagate the President’s great revolutionary career and immortal exploits.

In February of last year, in particular, the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain grandly sponsored an international internet seminar under the theme of “President Kim Il Sung’s exploits will live forever in the hearts of progressive mankind”. Personages from 17 countries including France, Spain, Switzerland, Britain, Denmark, Finland, Russia and Belarus and international organizations attended it, and some 15,278,900 people visited the on-line seminar.

The boundless praise of mankind for President Kim Il Sung, great saint of the revolution, will go down through generation as a legend of the sun along with prospering socialist Korea led by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.
