September 9, this year marks the 65th founding anniversary of the glorious Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The founding of the DPRK by great President Kim Il Sung was a majestic declaration heralding the birth of the first people's country, people's Korea in the colonial orient, and a landmark event that opened up a new era of building a people-centered socialist country.

After founding the DPRK, the President performed immortal exploits that will shine for all ages in the country’s history, traversing untrodden paths of building a socialist state for decades.

His Juche-oriented state-building idea and line enabled the DPRK to exalt its prestige as a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence, and his experienced and seasoned leadership unfolded a new history of unheard-of epochal change in the country.
