Reunification Will Enshrined in Historic Autography

It has been 20 years since great President Kim Il Sung left his autography on a document concerning the national reunification in the last period of his great life.

Looking up to the autography associated with the lofty dedication of the President who devoted his all to the country’s reunification burning his heart with ardent patriotism, south Koreans recollect in deep emotion his exploits for the reunification with boundless yearning and fervent reverence for him.

A member of an institute of reunification problem expressed his earnest feelings saying that the autography “Kim Il Sung, July 7, 1994”, though very short, connotes the great history which even legions of letters cannot describe, and the shining fests for national reunification made by the President, therefore, all of them venerate him, cherishing the autography in their minds.

Still deeply cherished in the hearts of our people is the sacred image of President Kim Il Sung who dedicated his heart and soul to the reunification till the last moments of his great life.

The President passed away so regrettably the next day after he left the signature on July 7, 1994, on a historic document which would unfold a turning phase for the great national unity and reunification.

Indeed, national reunification was the President’s lifelong wish and his earnest behest bequeathed to the 70-million compatriots at the same time.

Now, south Korean newspapers, magazines, TVs, internet homepages and other publications are intensively carrying writes-up on the President’s undying feats for national reunification edited with his photos, touching the south Koreans.

Circulated in Seoul and other parts of south Korea are printed materials under such titles as “Peerless patriot who devoted all his life to reunification”, “Eternal sun of the reunified nation whom our fellow countrymen should revere and hold in high esteem for all ages” and “Immortal exploits President Kim Il Sung performed in the history of reunification movement will last forever”.

This reality further stirs up the south Koreans’ admiration for the great man.
