Boundless yearning and veneration for fatherly President Kim Il Sung, eternal sun of the nation, were ardently expressed among the south Korean people on the occasion of the Day of the Sun, the biggest auspicious holiday of the nation.

Newspapers, magazines, internet homepages and other media of south Korea were vying with each other to courteously carry the august photos of the President and to widely introduce his brilliant life and undying exploits on the occasion.

Books covering his great personalities and sacred feats were printed out, photo exhibitions, seminars on his works, song and poem gatherings, remembrance meetings, fine art exhibitions were held in different parts of south Korea, growing Kimilsungias, the immortal flower, in families and other commemoration events took place, touching the heartstrings of the south Korean people who never forget the President.

Endless admiration and trust for the peerlessly great man also surged up among the world people.

Preparatory committees for commemorating the centenary of the President Kim Il Sung’s birth were formed in various countries and regions over the world and publishing his works, remembrance meetings, seminars and lectures, reading sessions, photo exhibitions, film shows and other political and cultural events were held successfully.

The Association for the Study of the Songun Politics in the UK, in particular, posted a special edition to carry the august photos of great President Kim Il Sung and articles on his life and exploits.

The Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain sponsored the Internet Book and Photo Exhibition entitled "President Kim Il Sung will be alive in the heart of mankind forever" from March 13.

It shows graphically how fervent the reverence of mankind to respect and follow forever great President Kim Il Sung as the eternal sun of humankind is.

Indeed, as the sun is everlasting, President Kim Il Sung is alive forever in the hears of humankind with the best wishes of all the people and the songs praising the sun will resound aloud.
