Songun Politics, Banner of National Reunification

The Songun politics is a great banner which propels the advance of the June 15 era of reunification and a treasured sword for national Reunification.

The historic north-south summit meetings and the adoption of the inter-Korean joint declarations, and the consequent landmark successes of the June 15 reunification era are all the precious fruition made by the Songun politics.

The reality in which the spirit of the Korean nation for independent reunification mounts higher and the reunification movement develops as a nation-wide movement day after day under the banner of “By Our Nation Itself” is an obvious demonstration of the justness and vitality of the great Songun politics.

It is a patriotic politics which safeguards peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and propels all the compatriots to carry out the cause of national reunification.

The Songun politics puts up the dignity and sovereignty of the country and nation as the lifeline, and regards it as its main mission to thoroughly defend and realize them
