He is opening up the bright avenue of national reunification by dint of the patriotic Songun politics.

He arranged the historic Pyongyang summit meetings and provided the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, milestone of the reunification, with the resolute faith and bold decision for reunification and sublime magnanimity to turn the inter-Korean relations to that of reconciliation and cooperation and lead the reunification movement to a new high phase.

It is the greatest honor and fortune of the Korean compatriots to hold in high esteem leader Kim Jong Il, who opens up a new era of national dignity and prosperity most shining in 5 000 year-long history of Korea on the strength of the great Songun politics, as the Supreme Commander of the KPA.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk (December 24, 1917) the patriotic people of south Korea extend her the greatest respect and thanks with the most sublime reverence for her calling back on her great revolutionary life and immortal feats.

Her noble life is shining as the revolutionary history of a preeminent woman revolutionary and a lifeguard who upheld President Kim Il Sung, the unparalleled great man, as the sun of the nation and dedicated her all to the realization of the revolutionary cause of Juche.

From the very beginning till the last moments of her life on the road of the revolution Kim Jong Suk adamantly defended the ideas and lines of President Kim Il Sung and his personal safety and made a great contribution to the liberation of Korea, building of a new country and national reunification as the closest revolutionary comrade and faithful assistant of the President.

The reunification of the country was her lifelong aspiration and historical mission.

Even after returning to the liberated country she devoted her all to brilliantly implement the ideas and intention of the President for national reunification, cherishing the lofty mission of the reunification.

She rendered the warm hospitality to the south Korean politicians who visited north Korea to meet the President for reunification crossing over the deadline, explained to them the reunification policy of the President and taught them that they should direct the spearhead of struggle to the US imperialists, the ringleader of Korea’s division, thus implanted deep in their mind the patriotic spirit and the staunch faith and volition of reunification.

In particular, she always paid deep attention to the personal affairs of the pro-reunification patriots in south Korea; she made clothes for them, arranged birthday spreads for them and brought up the children of the democratic personages of south Korea and let them study with meticulous loving care and sincerity as their parents did.

Her ardent loving care became a motive which dynamically propelled the broad masses of south Korea from all walks of life to the struggle to implement the President’s idea of great national unity and reunification policies.

Therefore, the patriotic people of south Korea publish many articles and books on many occasions every year to praise her revolutionary life and immortal feats forever.

Though her lifetime was not long, her great revolutionary life dedicated to the country and nation and her immortal revolutionary feats will shine forever as the star in the hearts of humankind.
